How the data is built

Market and origin totals come from trade statistics. Buyer identities are matched from corporate records. Per-buyer volumes are derived estimates from those inputs.

Clear limits

This is buyer-level market research, not a contact database, lead broker, customs-record platform, or compliance-screening tool.

A diverse cross-section of Thai demand.

Frequently asked.

01 Is this a contact database? +
No. TradeScope Asia is buyer-level Thailand import research — ranked Thai companies, estimated import volume in MT, volume share, and source-country mix per buyer. We do not sell email addresses, phone numbers, decision-maker names, buyer introductions, or sales appointments. The intent is to tell you which Thai companies are active in your market so your sales team can reach them through normal channels.
02 Can I preview a report before buying? +
Public previews show the top three English importer names, rounded estimated volume share, and primary sourcing direction. Snapshot reports include the current-year buyer ranking through May 2026, estimated MT per buyer, full buyer-level source-country mix, licensed PDF report, buyer summary CSV, buyer-origin detail CSV, and license file. Historical Reports add the available multi-year archive and trend views where rendered. Want to see a full report first? Download the sample.
03 Where does our research come from? +
Two layers. Market-level numbers (totals by HS code, origin, etc.) come from official import trade statistics, cross-checked across multiple sources. Company identities come from corporate records, verified against the business registry database. We combine these into company-level research you can't get from any single public source.
04 How reliable is the research? +
Two layers. Market and origin totals come from official trade statistics. The named companies in the report are matched buyer identities. Company-level volume, share, and origin mix are derived estimates, built by combining those official stats with corporate records, industry data, and sourcing patterns we track. If you're in the industry, you'll probably recognise the top importers in our free preview. That's on purpose. If the preview matches what you know, the rest of the research is built the same way.
05 Is this report right for me? +
This research is built for exporters who know HS codes and can recognise at least the top 3 companies in the preview. If you can't, don't buy — it probably isn't the right fit for you yet. New to Thailand import research? Contact us and we'll help you figure out if it makes sense.
06 How often is the research updated? +
Snapshot reports track the current calendar year. The current Snapshot release covers January-May 2026, and the date shown on the site moves forward when the next monthly release is ready. Historical Reports are finite archives of full calendar years, currently 2017-2025 where available. Free page previews stay on full historical years rather than partial current-year figures.
07 What format is the report? +
A Snapshot package includes a licensed PDF report, buyer summary CSV, buyer-origin detail CSV, and a license/order details file. Historical packages add the multi-year CSV pack and executive report/synthesis where available. Paid PDF and CSV files include English and Thai company names where available.
08 How do I use the report? +
Read the PDF when you want the overview — ranked importers, origins, market context. It's formatted to share with your team. Open the CSV files in spreadsheets, internal BI tools, or your CRM workflow to sort, filter, and prioritise outreach — subject to your company's data policies and the report license.
09 How does the pricing work? +
There are two one-time tiers: Snapshot is $79 for the current-year report, and Historical is $199 for the full archive where available. No subscriptions, no platform fees, no annual contracts. Each report is compiled and personalised for you after checkout, licensed for internal use by the purchasing company.
10 Some smaller importers are grouped together. Can I see them individually? +
We rank named importers individually up to a set threshold — check the free preview on any product page to see the exact count for your market. Smaller importers go into an "Other" row. Contact us if you need deeper coverage.
11 I don't see my product listed +
We're always adding products. Don't see yours? Contact us — we might already have the research, or we can move your commodity up the priority list.
12 Can I share the report? +
Each report is licensed for internal use by the exact purchasing company named at checkout. Internal sharing inside that company is fine. Sharing with parent companies, subsidiaries, sister companies, clients, distributors, agents, or outside consultants is not allowed unless we agree in writing. Need a multi-entity or affiliate license? Contact us.
13 Can I use the report for compliance, legal, KYC, or credit decisions? +
No. Reports are designed for sales planning, market sizing, and business development — directional commercial intelligence. They are not customs records, KYC verification, sanctions screening, credit assessments, or legal evidence.
14 Can I get a refund? +
Yes — if something is genuinely wrong on our end. If a report has a material mismatch with what we describe, a delivery failure, the wrong report, corrupted files, or a duplicate charge, contact us within 7 days with your order ID and we will correct the files or issue a refund. Because reports are instant-delivery digital research, we cannot refund simply because a buyer did not respond, a campaign did not convert, the wrong HS code or product was selected, or the public data did not contain a specific company you hoped for. Spotted a data issue? Contact us within 7 days with your order ID.
