Terms of Service.

1. Overview

TradeScope Asia ("TradeScope Asia", "we", "us", or "our") provides digital trade intelligence reports and related website content at tradescopeasia.com. These Terms of Service apply when you access our website, preview our content, purchase a product, download a report, or otherwise use our services. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or our products.

Our products are intended for business use only, not personal or household use.

2. Products

Our products are downloadable reports delivered as a licensed PDF report, buyer summary CSV, buyer-origin detail CSV, license/order details file, and/or ZIP download package, covering Thailand import activity for a specific commodity or HS code. Market-level figures (totals, origin breakdowns) are compiled from official import trade statistics. Buyer-level figures include estimated import volume in MT, estimated volume share, and source-country mix, produced by our proprietary allocation framework. Buyer-level value, unit count, and SKU-level purchasing are not estimated unless expressly stated. Data should be used as directional commercial intelligence.

Where a report includes an "Other" or "unlisted buyers" group, that group represents estimated import volume attributed to buyers below the individual listing threshold and may not be broken down by individual company, source country, or segment. Some report breakdowns may distinguish between named-buyer-attributed volume and total-market volume; customers should review the notes accompanying each table or chart.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

4. Delivery

After successful payment, your report is available for immediate download and a copy is sent to the email address provided during checkout. In rare cases, email delivery may be delayed by a few minutes due to processing.

5. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital data files delivered immediately after purchase, sales are final once delivery has occurred. Delivery occurs when the download link is displayed after checkout or sent to the email address provided at purchase.

Purchases are final after access to the report files has been provided, except for duplicate payment, delivery failure, wrong report delivery, corrupted files, or material mismatch with the product description at the time of purchase. If any of those apply, contact us within 7 days of purchase with your order ID. Our first remedy may be replacement or corrected files; if the issue cannot be resolved we may issue a refund. Refunds are not available because a customer disagrees with buyer-level estimates, expected emails / phone numbers / introductions / customs records, selected the wrong HS code or product, or did not achieve a sales result.

Free previews are provided on each product page so you can evaluate the data before buying. If you identify an error in the data, we encourage you to report it. We review reported issues in good faith and, where warranted, incorporate changes into future updates.

If you are a company named in one of our reports and want to request suppression, correction, or privacy-related action, please use our dedicated Takedown & Correction Requests channel rather than the refund process.

6. Usage Rights

When you purchase a report, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use that report internally within the single business that paid for it.

You may use the data internally to inform your own business decisions, build internal analyses, and support your own sales, research, and planning activities.

You may not share, distribute, forward, sublicense, resell, republish, post, or otherwise make the report or its contents available to anyone outside the purchasing business, including parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, consultants, contractors, clients, or any other third party.

You may not use the report or its contents to build or enrich any commercial database, public dataset, lead list, machine-learning model, or competing product or service.

If multiple entities within a corporate group need access, each entity must purchase its own report unless we agree otherwise in writing. For multi-entity or enterprise pricing, contact us.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you breach these terms, your right to use the report ends immediately.

7. Permitted Use; Restricted Uses

Each report is licensed only for the purchasing business's internal commercial use, including internal market research, sales prospecting, business development, planning, and related analysis. The reports are not official government records and contain buyer-level estimates as described in Section 10.

You may not use any report, or any data contained in a report:

• for any public accusation, allegation of wrongdoing, or claim that any named party engaged in unlawful, improper, or unethical conduct;
• as the sole or primary basis for any legal claim, regulatory complaint, judicial filing, enforcement action, disciplinary action, or other adverse action against any person or entity;
• for sanctions screening, export-control screening, AML/KYC checks, compliance due diligence, credit, insurance, employment, vendor-risk, or similar eligibility or risk determinations; or
• in any manner that is likely to cause material harm to a named party through reliance on derived or unverified estimates without independent verification.

Nothing in this Section prevents a customer from disclosing a report where disclosure is required by applicable law, valid legal process, or court order. Any other use outside the scope of this license is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of access.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use our website, previews, or products in any way that violates these terms or applicable law. In particular, without our prior written permission, you may not:

• use any robot, scraper, spider, crawler, bot, or other automated means to access, collect, copy, monitor, or extract data from our website or products;
• systematically harvest preview data or other content from our website, including to build or enrich any database, directory, lead list, model, or competing product or service;
• republish, mirror, frame, or reproduce substantial portions of our website or products;
• bypass or interfere with any security feature, rate limit, download control, access restriction, or technical protection measure;
• use our data or content to create a competing commercial dataset, intelligence product, or public reference resource; or
• use our website or products in a way that could impair, disrupt, or overburden our services.

This section does not prohibit ordinary indexing by public search engines acting in accordance with our robots instructions.

9. Sanctions and Export Controls

You represent and warrant that you are not located in, organised in, or ordinarily resident in any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you are not listed on or owned or controlled by any person listed on any applicable sanctions list maintained by the United States, United Nations, European Union, or United Kingdom.

You may not purchase, access, or use our website or products in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade compliance laws. You may not purchase our products on behalf of, for the benefit of, or for resale to any prohibited or sanctioned person or entity.

We may refuse, cancel, or suspend any order or access if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law or to address sanctions, export-control, fraud, or misuse risks.

10. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

Our reports combine measured market-level data (compiled from trade statistics), matched company identities, and derived buyer-level estimates produced by our proprietary allocation framework. Buyer-level volumes, shares, and origin allocations are estimates rather than official shipment-level declarations. All data is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis for informational purposes only. We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and completeness.

The data does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or trade advisory services. You are solely responsible for evaluating the data, interpreting it in the context of your own business, and verifying information independently before making any decisions. We do not guarantee that the data reflects current market conditions, and past import patterns may not indicate future activity.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on tradescopeasia.com and in our products, including data selection, arrangement, estimates, analysis, previews, methodology, text, design, and downloadable files, is owned by TradeScope Asia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and similar rights, including copyright, trade secret, and, where applicable, database rights.

Our proprietary methodology, data collection processes, and estimation models are confidential trade secrets.

12. Privacy

We collect and use limited customer information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using our website or purchasing our products, you acknowledge that payment processing and certain service operations are handled by third-party providers, including our payment processor, hosting provider, and transactional email provider.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradeScope Asia and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use our data products, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that trade data is inherently imprecise and that business decisions involve risk. You agree not to hold TradeScope Asia responsible for any outcomes resulting from your interpretation or application of the data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website or products, cancel an order, or disable download access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, used automated extraction tools, or created legal, security, or compliance risk for us.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Force Majeure

TradeScope Asia shall not be liable for any delay or failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to infrastructure outages, third-party service disruptions, natural disasters, or governmental actions.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms for future purchases.
